47. Think Joseph Wilson.
Think Joseph Wilson. Ambassador. Sees bullshit and takes the government to task on it.

He's the UK version.

He complained about the torture - Karimov of Uzbekistan has been known to boil people - and the Foreign Office told him to shut up. Then they fired him. Then he wrote a book. Then the Government used the draconian British Secrecy Act to stop him from publishing these letters. The people who gave them to me were one step from him - as all members of "I'll print the al Jazeera memo" got the email. I immediately went converted the PDF's and put them up here.

Now I have done a new page - http://www.chris-floyd.com/telegrams/feed/ - which collects RSS feeds from google news, Yahoo news, and technorati using keywords associated with the breaking story - as well as added in the documents and links to those who broke the story in the UK and asked bloggers overseas to saturate the blogs with the information so that the UK government can do nothing and no one will likely face prosecution.

This is WHY they want to wiretap US. It's pretty simple really. Secrets are harder to keep in the anonymous blogosphere. These are real. This is real.
