I know that Debs is not everyone's cup of tea, but it is tough to not be moved by his prose. I re-read his speeches sometimes just to get re-charged He represents a huge chunk of significant Labor events. I highly suggest a trip to Terre Haute, Indiana where they hold the Debs foundation annual dinner.

Don't forget Mother Jones. SHE was an *organizer* that still carries a huge impact. They called her the The "Miners' Angel" Here's a nice article from the magazine named for her:
