5. I have enormous respect for AF, and have had for some time.

I remember having a "discussion" - with someone who turned out to be a gun store owner, btw - and I brought up something funny that Al had said. She said: "He's an idiot. What's he ever done?"

I was so happy to be able to say: "Well, he graduated cum laude from Harvard, had a fellowship at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, has written 5 best-selling books, 3 of which were #1 on the NYT, has won 3 Emmy awards and was given the USO's Merit Award for 10 years of service in entertaining and visiting wounded and deployed troops. What have YOU done?"

Amazingly.....no reply.
