Also, Barack Obama is a cosponsor of a public campaign financing bill in the Senate that noone seems to want to talk about.

Public campaign financing is still that thing that candidates will mention in passing in one or two sentences at times, but NEVER go through and firmly push and support. It's very hard to tell when some of these folks are REALLY trying to break through the corporate media ICE on this subject, or if they are just trying to offer "window dressing" to their campaign to claim that they said something about it, even if they don't mean to do anything substantive about it.
