The real conversion will have to been seen to be true if he can come out the other side. After dealing with the pain , anger, humiliation, loss of control and fear that all patients who enter the hospital with their lives on the line and their hearts on their sleeves, will compassion be the lesson he really learns.

Or will it be the lesson of "how dare they treat me that way" and if they treat me that way how will they treat you regular no bodies. The fact is in the hospital we are all exposed to this treatment. Money, good insurance, and name recognition will shied you to a certain degree. But none of these things can shied you from the humiliation, the fear, the vulnerability you fear when you become dependent upon another for your very life.

This should be a lesson he takes away from this experience. People who are in need are vulnerable and are in fear. Do something to help them. Do not judge how they got there or how you yourself would never get in that position. Anyone who knows anything knows that is not true. There but for the grace of GOD go thee.

So get off the Drugs as fast as the pain allows, keep a journal of all the feeling you are having during this time. Reflect on others who have seen much harder times with much less resources, and then use the resources you have available to YOU to do some good.

Then we'll check in on your conversion into the human race.

We hope to say welcome home.
