and that's what drove him from office, and that Bush is different b/c he doesn't get it—I wonder did he mean that Bush is blissfully unaware that he is a ridiculous figure (he just doesn't 'get it'), or that he is actually not receiving any ridicule, not getting it in any appreciable measure from the media? Hmmm. Because I have always believed that he is vulnerable to being told "shame on you," ever since he famously mangled an ordinary cliche because he just couldn't say "(Fool me twice,) shame on ME."
