Meanwhile, troops are dying, innocent Iraqis are dying, the US military is being financially starved and privatized out of existence so that mercenaries can "get around" the Geneva Conventions, and, oh yes, over 25% of US children live beneath the poverty line, a good number of these with single/divorced mothers, and the Supreme Court just said gender discrimination is ok if your employer can hide the disparity in income for 180 days.

Look at the shiny bauble, everyone.
