I just didn't have high hopes for any of our candidates. I'm not a Hillary-hater, but neither am I a supporter, and I know that she'll bring out the wingnuts in droves. Obama is cool, but I don't think he's got enough experience to win over a majority of voters (but then, what experience did the Chimp have?). I'd seen folks' "Gore '08" stuff and didn't think much of it, partially because he wasn't running, and because I figured that he, too, would draw down all of the RW haters and be immediately swift-boated. But in recent months, Al has become such a powerful figure in my mind, almost a moral force. All he has to do is increase the energy efficiency of his house and I'm there!
