Bush gets 45 to life for killing wife

This week, Larry Knievel filled two sheets of notebook paper with words that have run through his head for years.

Even before police arrested David Labon Bush last August and charged him with killing his wife in 1990, before prosecutors successfully argued that DNA evidence and witness statements pointed at one man, before a jury convicted David Bush of killing Lynn Bush and disposing of her body, Knievel knew he'd one day stand before a judge and say the man who took his daughter deserved to spend the rest of his life in prison.

"Your honor," began Knievel during the sentencing hearing of David Bush, "Gayle and I loved Lynn from the day she opened her eyes to the day David Bush shut 'em."

With family and police filling the courtroom, Knievel asked his former son-in-law one more time to reveal where Lynn Bush is buried.
