I think we all hope it gets better. The problem is when you think you can make it better simply by saying it's better. Republicans always do this - they make problems go away by denying it's a problem, but that doesn't help our guys on the ground. That doesn't help the Iraqis when their cities are turned into rubble and Sunni Death Squads and Shiite militias are running the town. Lindsey thinks saying nice things about Iraq is a substitute for a well thought through policy and he's just plain wrong.
