The U.S. Senate voted, with a count of 87-
1, to double the bounty for Osama Bin Laden after recent reports that state Al Qaeda has been gaining strength. This bounty will give $50 million to the capture, killing or even information that leads to the capture of Osama Bin Laden.
The U.S. Senate also wants President Bush to focus his efforts toward capturing Osama Bin Laden, instead of putting too much effort into Iraq. This legislation still has to be approved by both the House of Representatives and President Bush himself.
