Please Call Your Senators

Two issues (among many) for the moment. It would be helpful to call and express your support for what is happening in the Senate today as the media are making a joke of it, ‘It’s just a show, to get their poll numbers up’. Calls to both your senators and Reid are encouraging.

You will find the senate numbers here: http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

Toll free numbers: (800) 862-5530 (800) 833-6354 (866) 340-9281 (866) 220-0044

Also the vote for Habeas Corpus restoration is hanging by a thread. Please call your senators especially if they are one of the following:

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT)
Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE)
Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE)
Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN)
Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID)
Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME)
Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME)
Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN)
Sen. George Voinavich (R-OH)
Sen. John Sununu (R-NH)
Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA)
Sen. Gordon Smith (R-OR)
Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN)
