17. Far different situation

Vick has been under investigation for quite awhile and a grand jury has already returned an indictment against him. He's innocent until proven guilty, but the evidence around him is pretty solid, to say the least (see: Carting dozens of scarred dogs off his property, breeding "rape stands," tiny, inhumane cages, etc. In the Duke case, you had a stripper saying these guys raped me and a good number of folk, without having any evidence at all, just figured they were guilty. In fact, there's a small but significant number of people here who I think really wanted them to be guilty.
