Here's one about them stalling that case, waiting for Dateline to be there, but this is not the same as what I'd heard said on tv, before that producer decided to sue NBC. They'd talked about Perverted Justice volunteers setting up people in chat rooms, stalking potential "perps", altering chat logs and profiles, really questionable shit, considering that actual cases were later going to be made in courts of law. In the Ohio sting, the Perverted Justice volunteers were temporarily "deputized" by the Darke Co. Sheriff, otherwise, nothing in the chats would be acceptable as evidence to prosecute...however, there is no way to verify that those "chatters" had changed their tactics that they were using in previous stings, before any law-enforcement was ever involved.

It all stinks to high heaven, honestly.
