Over on the liveblog at Conyers office @ 6:03PM , karen posts that she was told that only 13 people have signed on to H#3 33.
Funny, I was told at about 3:30 or 4:00PM by one of my Congressmen's aides that there were 16 signed on to it! I called Mike Michaud & Tom Allen's offices
It was on my list for today, but was precipitated in a white hot fury, after opening my mail. The power company has me on the ground, with one foot on my back!
Enron comes to MAine. The State was deregulated in 2001 or 2, bills steadily climbing since then and the 2 most infuriating things they do......."YOU must be doing something to run up the bill" Yeh! like & pinning my clothes on the line to dry, cooking my food on the backyard grill over gleaned wood to avoid using the electric stove, !I am now stuck with, The $400. ( I could use ) for a gas stove is going to the power company leaving nothing over. The other................"Can you go to your town or church and ask them for the money to pay your bill." I am working 200% to try & start a second free lance art business, ( the first one was destroyed by the Regan Bush recession of 1990, long story! Too late now, Horatio Alger is DEAD! or in detention.might as well plant another row of turnips and fix up that hen house in-the shed!
Yeh right! The town is going to put me on the rolls for $100. per month! Or the local "faith based charity" the one that gives out out of date plaster of paris cup cakes at their food pantry!
Medicare wouldn't pay for my foot ex ray at the hospital............( The State of Maine picked up their 1/2 of the tab.) I average $200. per year for medical care, & under #30.00 per year for drugs. Wouldn't you think they could pick up the tab, since they are sending the other 1/2 of my SS to Halliburton, Blackwater,Isreal, Iraq, Pakistan, Columbia, ...........& who knows where else?
If I were 48 or 58 I would go out and get some houses to clean for extra money! Honey at 68 that's just not do,able!
They are torturing seniors now too!
