We have undoubtedly the most secretive Vice Presidency in history and one of his closest advisers, Mary Matelin, happens to be married to James Carville who is one of the closest advisers to the Clinton's. How does this add up in reality? How is it possible that Cheney can trust Matelin and the Clinton's can trust Carville? Is it blind faith, ignorance or what?

If you were Cheney(I know that's hard to imagine for most)would you have Matelin as a close adviser?

If you were the Clinton's would you continue to keep Carville as an adviser?

Even if Carville and Matelin made a point to keep their personal lives separate from their professional lives what's to keep secrets from being unintentionally revealed from one to the other?
