Madeleine McCann's blood was found in a car her parents rented 25 days after they reported her disappearance (snip)

So the abduction story came first, then the continent-wide search, then the parents rent a car, then the blood shows up in it? How could they hide her (alive or dead) in the middle of all that?

Unless the sentence in the CNN article was just worded poorly, and the blood was found in the car, the same one they'd been renting all along, 25 days afterwards. "Twenty-five days after she disappeared, blood was found in the car" would have made more sense, if that were the case.
