Giving racism, sexism, anti-intellectualism, religious intolerance, and homophobia a benign blonde presence is dangerous. Elisabeth is a bigot who isn't Bubba. She's not fat. She's somewhat educated. She dresses well. And she gives her intolerance a certain acceptable glamour.
That's what is dangerous.
You think she's just a stuffed animal, sitting on the bed.
She's not. People pay attention to her and repeat her comments as "news". "I heard on the news...". No, you heard a blonde bigot spewing lies through her sorority girl facade.
