90. I'm familiar with the topic.
Celtic history pre-dates the Vikings by a long, long time. Two books of interest are Frank Delany's "The Celts" (Little Brown; 1986) and Barry Cunliffe's "The Ancient Celts" (Oxford; 1997). The similarities in art tend to fall into the Middle Ages, which is a relatively late era in Celtic history. Much more important than similarities in art is the study of their languages, which are from very different groups. The Vikings came from ancestors who were distinct from the Celts. One of my relatives used to teach the Irish and related languages; a book that might be of interest is Welsch author Meic Stephens' "Linguistic Minorities in Western Europe" (1976).
