2. I can only
respond with personal handicapping devoid of all supporting evidence such as polls. That Hillary is actually at her highwater mark, as far as her campaign is able and willing to go to win over the people. That Guiliani is further along his own and falling as even insane wisdom tells you he must. The polls of others are so close as to show the stage of polling is meaningless regarding 2008.

In 2008, minus weird factors, the Dems and GOP will begin roosting. Several factors will dampen the GOP and create defections. The Dems by very strong efforts could dampen their own. Weak candidates will be a factor. Or a strong Dem candidate, regardless of what polls indicate now, could bull through a huge win, rallying Dems, Independents and GOP defectors, squelching the fraud factor and making them even afraid or too despairing to try the myriad of small stuff. The GOP propped up the miserable Bush and Bush brought in the organized new fraud. In Hillary, I think we would to a dangerous degree be in propping mode with nothing else to rely on except revocable Murdoch passes and big money co-option of the entire party agenda. ALL GOP Bush stooges- which is what they are- must be propped AND depend on the Dems submitting to defenseless propping on their side. By propping I mean the disproportiante reliance of the candidate upon the party(and others) rather than vice versa.

If Obama or Edwards are nominated the GOP will have no silver lining or assurances anywhere. Then, whatever the polls show now, the task of the GOP, no matter how successful they might appear in pre-election polling, will be to stave off landslide disaster and a coming accountability.
