Mike Gravel should be more in the purple zone (probably still lower on the authoritarian scale as he does want more government by citizen votes through propositions, etc.), but more on the right side of the graph. I wonder what criteria they are using to rank them here. I'm thinking that the criteria isn't as robust as it should be.
Given that, I also wonder how accurate the placement of some of the other candidates are as well. I personally would put Hillary higher up on the authoritarian list, but I guess one would have to study the questions more to find out what's being measured.
