the only way WE can communicate with the general public about things we learn here is ONE ON ONE. If you can convert one or two people, maybe even bring them to DU, and they are able to do it with one or two more, you have a growing phenomenon.

I carry my liberal, anti-corporate attitudes with me everywhere, even at work. And I WORK for a corporation. When people complain about this or that, I gently remind them that it's corporate America in action. When they're sick and yet have to come to work anyway, I bring up universal healthcare.

I'm the guy who knows what's going on. When the explosion happpened the other day, I was the one with all the news--primarily because one of our good friends works for the fire department and my wife was getting updates on a regular basis. I was HOURS ahead of the news on it. It helped cultivate my mystique.
