There is no safer or more secure investment than T-Bills and their equivalent. There is no personal savings account, IRA, or 401-K that DOESN'T contain such 'paper' as you call it ... and 'paper' even LESS secure. The effective rate of interest earned on Trust FUnd reserves is far better than you'd ever get in the mayonnaise jar you seem to prefer. There are issues with the Social Security system, but you demonstrate not even the slightest comprehension of them with such imbecilic remarks.
