San Diego County is like the Titanic.

It's big, it's luxurious, and it houses a large number of well-to-do white, conservative industrialists. These folks live in their cavernous cabins high above the waterline, unconcerned of what lay below.

Unbeknown to wealthy, the middle class are enjoying their modest, if expensive, accommodations a mere deck below. Their cabins are little smaller, a little closer together, and lack the amenities of their wealthier shipmates.

Further down, in the belly of the giant ship, you have the third class passengers. They crammed into the ship's hull like sardines, not for the luxury the ship provides, but because they need to get from point A to point B, and this was the ticket they bought.

The moral of this story should be obvious. If the ship hits an iceberg, the First Class passengers aren't the only ones who are going to drown.
