The current kaos has been a great driver for the economy. Not the little peoples economy, but the Corporate Military Complex.

Perhaps, this is all part and parcel with the game of rule, the pendulum swings back and forth and the CMC was dying and needed an infusion of money to keep its corporate master in the game - SWING - they got power, started a war and BAM got their money gift and in the process the world gets thrown into a little kaos and confusion which is all good for business. I mean, people are still buying iPods, right?

Ok, so now the CMC has the reins and they create a little kaos and make a little dough...next round comes the peace makers and they clean up the mess and make a little dough and strive to 'Set Things Right' and the world breathes a sigh of relief and gets back to buying iPods, which they never really stopped doing anyways. So now the soft commodity corporatist are able to make some new vaccines and pump some new healthcare initiatives through, make a few new dish soaps - they can also start selling cool little solar arrays at Walmart that help Mr. and Mrs. Average Global Citizen do their part for the war on Global Warming...Carbon Credits, green technologies and the like take off and a new set of Corporatist make some dough. "Hey, did you see the new Mini-Mega Windmill II at Wally World, I heard there was a price drop and now you can get one for just $29.89..."

After a few years of relative peace and prosperity, the CMC rises up again and creates some kaos and starts the cycle all over again.

As for you and I? We get old blogging our angst and carrying signs and someday when were about 120 or so (due to the advances in health care - maybe some money was made there?), we each look at the other and go 'Oh man, now I get it'...and then we drop dead. Funeral guy comes along, makes a few bucks off the corpse and life goes on...

There are lots of greedy little devils out there, and some insane ones as well - doesn't matter which one goes first...there are always other lesser demons waiting to fill the void...

Neo-cons are using the zealots and it is not the first time that religion has been used to gain more power and amass wealth.
