23. I have mixed feelings about the price of gas

On one hand obviously this hurts everyone economically.

On the other hand will this motivate more people to buy higher MPG cars and change driving habits? We HAVE TO reduce CO2 emmissions and this is one way to get there.

The reasons gas is high though is total bullshit. Now if we were paying high gas prices from taxes that help pay univeral healthcare like they do in Europe, I would be fine with that.
