Obama scandal?
Advertisements [?]
They were talking about it this morning on "Morning Joe".

Evidently Robert Novak put something on his blog on Saturday about the Clinton camp saying that they had some scandalous information about Obama, but were not going to use it.

Obama responded in writing, and on TV in the order of "If they have something, bring it forward. I have nothing to hide."

The Clinton camp then responded that it showed Obama was an amateur for responding to anything in Robert Novak's column and that he should not be escalating the issue.

Previous to this morning, I had not heard about it. I have to say that in the era of Swiftboating, what is a person to do?

I note that there are not 100 GD threads about this, so I couldn't call it much of an escalation, but still... we don't need another Gore-like mistake of not responding more forcefully to the "invented the Internet", or Kerry's non-initial response to the Swiftboat allegations.

In short, I see it both ways.

Anyone care to discuss?
