89. Sad fact of life
Thanks to society's increasing encroachment on their habitat, deer are becoming a problem. I have seen more deer in relatively urban areas this year alone than I have in my lifetime. While statistically the number of deer may not be any higher (don't know about that for sure), the fact is they are becoming hazards and herds must be culled and managed accordingly. That may seem to be a cruel answer to some, but if hunters don't get them, disease, other animals, and machinery most certainly will.

I am all for **responsible** hunting with **responsible** use of the harvest. Treat deer humanely in both life and death.
