as opposed to either Clinton or Obama who want to placate corporate power. And it seems that a lot of the ills in our society are due to undue influence of corporate power on our government policies.

Eisenhower talked about the Military Industrial Complex. But its a much broader problem than just the MIC. MIC might be the cheerleaders behind war without end and guns versus butter. But other corporate powers influenced reduction in regulatory oversight feeding into the current mortgage crisis as well as the retrenching of the bankruptcy act which will further destroy Americans on the edge.
