It doesn't leave any room for true extremists. Where would a Stalin, Hitler, or Mussolini fit in? What about a hardcore libertarian/capitalist like Ayn Rand? Not nearly far enough away from any of those people.

In addition, but as a much smaller issue, it doesn't take into account the political landscape of each person. In an economically far-left country, someone wanting to change things towards capitalism would still appear as a far-left figure on that chart! It should be taking into account which direction the views would take their countries, not their current political platforms.
