10. Howard is 100% right to compete everywhere
Nebraska is a southern state politically. We have the reddest district in the nation in Western Nebraska, but I can see the results already. Just 4 years ago we were seemingly picking names out of the phonebook to pick out candidate and putting our candidate's name on the ballot without telling them. Now just 4 years later, we are making a serious effort in every race. We have candidates that people are excited about. Candidates that can raise money, and most importantly candidates that can articulate positions on issues that tell Nebraskans what we offer. No more standing up a straw-man in the corner and pummeling them for the Republicans. We have competitive races in our state and candidates that believe they can win. Thank God for Howard Dean. I'm not sure this would be happening without him.
