2. neither did they mention Huey Long
US history as taught is prefab nonsense... (Huey Long proposed limits to individual wealth, across the board minimum wages and rigid controls on the bizmen who were allowed to exploit resources, public resources, such as oil, minerals or forests etc- he was murdered by suicidal racist gunman in 1936, and would have eventually become US president; much of Roosevelt's 'New Deal' was to head off Huey. Vitually no American has ever heard of Huey Long, beyond the bs that he was corrupt ie 'Elmer Gantry- but if he was corrupt, then why defy the most powerful interests in the country? why not just sell out?)
When one pictures Huey Long, and such creeps as the dulles brothers/bush etc, in the background of history, it truly chsnges the picture we have of dirty 30's 'hoboes' riding rails and the dust bowl etc. It is so different it indeed altogether is a different country, where such as bush and co needed to sneak around in the dark, unlike now....
