I got to see it on the big screen back in 1989 during its 50th anniversary year. It was at a theater in Houston (the River Oaks) that had opened in 1939. They showed 1939 films at 1939 prices and gave all the money to charity. They sold out all the shows! If I remember correctly, they also showed Wuthering Heights and Goodbye Mr. Chips. It was very cool to see them on the big screen.
