the "middle class" and the "family" - while their fiscal policies actually cause the middle class great harm. But still there are people who buy into it as if the Republicans have some kind of moral superiority. Not everyone is smart enough to see through the rhetoric.

Edit: Framing is everything, and some voters just don't see through the frames. Call it a total lack of critical thinking, or to be blunt, conservative inferiority.
