into ethanol subsidies BECAUSE Jeb BUsh is the head of the ethanol prodcers association (don't know the name of the group). Ethanol made from corn is NOT sensible. Ethanol can be made from almost anything. coconuts, sugar, any vegetable. If you look closely, I'm suer you will find that the Bush family has heavily invested in corn right before Bush pushed forward the ethanol rpovisions of the energy bill. Prices are supposed to go up. That's how they earn outrageous profits. That is THE WHOLE POINT.
So yes, the ethanol bill screwed our corn prices, and that money is going into certain big pockets. They control production of EVERYTHING. The prices will continue to go up.
