They shot it with arrows, which was incredibly unnecessary and stupid if they were killing it just to eat it. These yahoos seem like they wanted some target practice. Like other poster said, they were probably wasted.

"Stubbe said the two "decided they wanted something to eat," led the calf out of the barn, shot it with arrows and cut its throat."

Fuck those assholes. It's downrights cruel and psychopathic to shoot a little calf after LEADING IT OUT OF THE BARN. I hope they get animal cruelty charges.
