It must have made some impression on me because even today I have a very clear memory of the beauty of that area. It was just a drive through. I stopped for photos and still have them in an album. My drive across the country in 1978.
Maybe I need another cross country road trip. Revisit those places that left such an awesome impression.
Maybe I've been held up in North Texas too long. Good people with big hearts exist in this country. You are a blessed man, Ghost.
