12. Well, BushCo didn't start to stink straightaway, if you remember recent history.

Nine Wun Wun happened less than eight years ago. For a year or so after Nine Wun Wun, way too many people were in a state of patriotic fervor and abject fear.

The shit didn't start to really stink until well into his first term--much like Nixon, who managed to get reelected as well, despite a growing stench.

Bush, unlike Nixon, was better at destroying records.
