7. "Keeping a Campaign Promise"?

I have zero problem with Obama going to see a Broadway show. The man is entitled to some downtime. And the bankruptcy of GM...which was not in anyway a surprise...is hardly equatable to going to a birthday party while people are drowning in New Orleans.

However, I would respectfully submit that if the President finds it necessary to justify his evening out as "keeping a campaign promise", then he should give serious thought to keeping some of his OTHER campaign promises, specifically those he's made to GLBT citizens*, when he gets back to work.

*not one of which have yet been addressed.
