Stoned on Oxycontin, impatient, and incredibly self-absorbed. Yeah, I've known a few teens like her, both when I was one and since.

Yes, you shouldn't drive while intoxicated, yes you should show some empathy for your fellow human beings, but for God's sake people, just slow the fuck down. I'm willing to bet you that this would never have happened, Oxycontin or no Oxycontin, if she would have just slowed down. People that drive very fast like this are usually very self-absorbed people. They put their own impatience over the safety of others.

Every time I see somebody act like her behind the wheel, I know that it's only a matter of time before it comes back to bite them in the ass. Only problem is, they often take somebody else down with them. And the real kicker is, whenever they repair their car after the inevitable accident or get their license back after it was suspended or complete their traffic classes or whatever, they usually go back to driving the same exact way.

Idiots.
