It drives me nuts- they always, and I mean always, support the most invasive, despotic crap. The Arizona "let me see your id" law is just the latest. Was listening to the weenies on the radio and one suggested that anyone getting government assistance shouldn't "be allowed" to have a TV or cable. Now, I ask you, what level of government bureaucracy and law enforcement invasiveness is going to be required to enforce that little nugget? Most of their "solutions" seem to involve some ill-defined big brother making sure people are punished in some way (forced sterilization, losing citizenship, etc., etc.). Preferably without the nicety of a trial, of course. And of course the topper being their support for Bushco's spying on Americans.

I would love to stop one of these folks and ask them- "Just what do you think will enforce such a law? Hmmm?"
