possible ..They said they have 4 Vets available.and they are training people to safely help the birds but keep safe from the chemicals ..they said they have lots of room to keep many birds made sick from ingesting the oil..and they will care for many until they can be sent back to their natural habitat..

They will be using Pepto bismol ( SP?)..for those birds that ingest oil..

Many Floridians are donating Pepto and dish soap..and rags and towels..

It all makes me feel so sick..

The authorities where I am on Clearwater Beach are not sure if the oil will migrate here..it all depends on the winds..how far down the oil will migrate..

but there is worry for the turtles that lay their eggs on our beaches each May-Nov.

it is anticipated the oil could hit the Fla panhandle by Monday or Tuesday.
