11. So problematic it will never pass
Problem one: is he talking only about naturalized citizens? Or all US citizens? If the former, then a double standard is being set up, and then how do we deal with the homegrown variety terrorist like Timothy McVeigh? He gets to keep his citizenship for killing 168 people with a car bomb, but someone else who got their citizenship via immigration to this country doesn't? If the latter, see problem two.

Problem two: define terrorism. Does it only involve "foreigners"? Is a mass murderer or serial murderer a terrorist? The latter type is quite common in our society and, yes, they terrorize. What's the point of stripping a serial killer of his or her citizenship?

I'm not saying that we can't revoke citizenship for someone to whom it was granted. But linking it to terrorism makes it problematic. And probably useless. No better intelligence would be gained; and no deterrence would accrue to it.
