6. Obama is a F*CKING energy wimp.
Just before the leak he endorsed offshore oil.

He embraced nuclear power.

For the record, all the best uranium ores are rapidly being used up. By 2050 only the less concentrated uranium ores will be left and extracting them will actually use up more fossil fuel than if you burned that fossil fuel directly, WITHOUT nuclear power.

Nuclear power is an energy dead end.

Anything to be a DLCer and middle of the road.

I have never seen a Democratic president move so GLACIALLY on a national crisis.

He's studying the problem. He's appointing a commission. That is politicalese for "I don't want to take sides so I'll pass the buck to a commission and blame THEM for any recommendations they make."

Obama is SLEEPWALKING through this crisis.

If Bobby Kennedy were president today he'd have the government pour through all relevant laws to find ways to do whatever had to be done, arrest people, send down federal marshals, seize assets, take over the emergency response himself personally, you name it.

Obama won't do anything like that because he has to move at a snail's pace and avoid offending the GOP.
