with a disaster when it happens?

There are over 3 thousand wells in operation in the Gulf alone today. Shouldn't EVERY one be shut down IMMEDIATELY until someone from the industry PROVES they have the expertise to effectively deal with a disaster.

Wouldn't that light a fire under the so called 'experts' in the industry, and motivate them to move more rapidly in this current ongoing historical disaster?!

the first EXECUTIVE Order tomorrow should be...

Exon, Shell, and all the rest... CEASE and DESIST all ongoing, deep sea drilling operations, ASAP. Your presence is REQUIRED in the Gulf IMMEDIATELY!

Simple yes or no in the subject line is fine.

Thank you DU

On Edit: Please K&R if you agree, to make it simple to count, and to spite the unrec trolls who are all over me on this topic ;)
