Like when it took over Germany's rocketry program after World War II, and used it for (among other things) a starting point for NASA.
Our people took over everything except the slave labor that was used to build V-1 and V-2 rockets at Peenemunde. When it came to hiring technical experts, we tapped into the best available source - Germany's rocketry program.  |
