they sure seem like it! I know the 60's much moore violent, and the McCarthy era was horrible too, but we didn't have multiple cable news channels, and whhat seems like thousands of RW radio shows then. I have to listen to liberal radio on the net because there are NO...NONE...NOT EVEN ONE liberal/proressive radio show on the radio here in Ga. I'm sure it's the same in almost all of the south!

I also don't remember ANY sident having so many verbal attacks agaist him...even Clinton. I'm 66 yo and I've been on DU fr a long time, and as much as we hated Shrub, I don't recall anyone saying they wanted him dead or making horrific remarks about his wife and kids.
