7. I think your fear of flying is totally separate from any other concerns
You probably know already in your head that flying is very safe. You SHOULD know that terrorism is really nothing to be concerned about. What you are dealing with is just plain old ordinary fear of flying. This is a fear than many, many people have. There is not much help you can get here. There is not much we can do. Many people seek therapy for this fear. Some people even take drugs. I have a friend who dopes herself up every time she flies ( lol - and she is a Psychologist )
All I can say you might do is read about this common fear by using the internet. There is a wealth of information out there.
