a woman who took control of her own sexuality just like most men do. IOW, a woman who had sex with whoever she pleased, whenever she pleased. So the word was never derogatory to me.

Men generally (well maybe not so much anymore)used it as a derogatory term. I never did. ALL of my long term and emotionally based relationships were with women that would have been considered "sluts". I LIKED being with a sexually experienced woman.

Claim or reclaim the word and it loses it's stigma.

SLUT = Sexually Liberated, Ultra Talented. By that definition, I like to consider MYSELF a slut and damn proud of it.
