Our local news showed a man who was going to euthanize several pets because of the rapture. The humane society was called in and said they would keep his pets safe and find them new homes or return them to him after the weekend if the rapture did not happen.
He was having a yard sale to get rid of his stuff and to tell people that Jesus was coming back.
The humane society appeared to treat him respectfully.
